“a desk clock with taste

what's in the cup

A clock that wears your game library. It reads the art the rest of the ecosystem already keeps on disk, runs it as a slow slideshow behind the time, and gets out of the way.

Three faces

Minimalist, a small dashed widget tinted by your palette. CREMA Splash, a frosted-glass circle framing the clock over blurred art. Ken Burns, game art filling the window with slow pan-and-zoom. Each freely resizable — the clock scales with it.

A slideshow built from art you already have

It scans the folders your CNGM and EmuLatte libraries already fill — heroes, covers, screenshots, or your own wallpapers. Nothing to import, nothing to configure. No library? It just shows the time.

Click a game to open it

The name under the art is a link. Click it and Cafe Neurotico or EmuLatte opens straight to that game's page — whichever one the artwork came from. If the app is already running, the click goes to the open window.

93 palettes, one picker

Full parity with Cafe Neurotico — ten families, from Linux-ricing classics to twenty retro operating systems that each bring their own era typeface. A card grid that previews every palette in its own colours, applied live.

Wear any font

Seven interface faces, each previewed in itself, restyling the whole clock. All bundled with the app — nothing is fetched when it launches.

Run as many as you like

Launch it again and again — every clock independent while it runs. A minimal one in a corner, a Ken Burns slideshow on the second monitor, a big CREMA splash on the third.

Frameless, always on top, out of the way

A borderless window that floats above the rest. Drag it anywhere, size it to taste, and add it to your application menu with one button.

Local-only. Yours.

It reads your libraries' art and databases on disk, read-only, and writes exactly one small settings file. No account, no telemetry, no network. Fonts bundled; nothing phones home.

CREMA Splash mode: a large frosted-glass circle over blurred Disco Elysium art, framing the time, date and day

also on the menu

The clock is complete on its own — but it's happiest sitting next to the libraries it draws from.

OPTIONAL
Cafe Neurotico
“more caffeine is more good”

The game library suite the clock pulls most of its art from — Steam, GOG, Epic, Flatpak, itch.io and PICO-8 — in one Electron binary with three faces: the Manager, GRINDER and CREMA. Keep it beside the clock and the art appears on its own; click a game name and it opens here.

OPTIONAL
EmuLatte
“I use RetroArch BTW”

The emulation side — a ROM library manager across 56 systems, with a gamepad-first Couch Mode for the TV. Its art feeds the same slideshow, and a click on a ROM's name opens EmuLatte straight to that game.

tip the barista

If the clock earned a spot on your desk, consider buying me a coffee — it keeps the pot warm.

If you do, let me know so I can thank you personally! :)
